Davidson Companies Charitable Giving
Davidson Companies has a long tradition of contributing to the communities where we operate. We enthusiastically support eligible organizations that offer programs and services to improve personal and local economies, conserve our environment, and foster a vibrant cultural community. Gifts, grants and sponsorships are donated through corporate giving, the Davidson Gift Matching Program, and individual branch offices and businesses. Each year, we target 3.5% of pretax earnings to effect change in the following areas:

Financial Literacy: Donations supporting programs that promote financial literacy and assist youth and adults in achieving lifelong financial self sufficiency.

Human Services: Gifts to organizations who provide emergency and transitional services to our neighbors in distress.

Economic Development: Gifts to public and/or private entities whose mission is to create employment opportunities and to expand and diversify the local economy.

Education: Gifts to institutions or initiatives that prepare youth to compete and thrive in an increasingly global economy.

Arts and Culture: Sponsorships and gifts to art institutions that enrich the lives of our employees and neighbors through the presentation of art that connects people in positive and ennobling ways.

Natural Conservation: Sponsorships and gifts to help sustain and improve the natural world surrounding our business locations.

Generally, we do not support the following:

• Direct grants to individuals, including requests for travel and related expenses
• Direct grants to groups or organizations for travel and related expenses
• Religious, political, or fraternal organizations unless they operate programs that serve the community at large and do not promote a specific political or religious agenda
• Non 501 (c) (3) organizations
• The creation or maintenance of monuments or memorials
