Summary:
The co-captain shares responsibility for the safe conduct of flights while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local and foreign regulations, as well as the policies and procedures specified in the company operations manual. Co-captains have the final authority with respect to the operation of the aircraft. Co-captain reports directly to the Chief Pilot.

Qualifications: (including specific Education and License requirements)

Maintain a current FAA Pilot's License and appropriate type rating

Maintain current pilot medical certification

Comply with all FAA mandated Continuing Ed requirements

Duties:

Equipment readiness - cleaning aircraft, procuring and loading supplies, fuel, catering

Weather,fuel, passenger load checks

Conduct passenger safety briefing

2.Overall Flight Ops equipment and hangar maintenance

3. Assist passengers with boarding & deplaning

4. Availability to pilot aircraft on demand by Davidson passengers to include occasional weekends and possible holidays

5. Assist with discharging safety responsibilities

6. Provide excellent customer service

7. Performing duties as assigned during flight preparation and in flight

8. Be prepared to assume the duties of the pilot in command in the event the pilot in command is incapacitated

9. Be familiar with and following all FARs and company policies pertinent to assigned duties

10. Assist flight department in any necessary cleaning and preventative maintenance of aircraft and hangar facilities as assigned by supervisor

11. Other duties as directed by Chief Pilot
