is Chairman of Davidson Companies, the financial services holding company that owns D.A. Davidson & Co., Davidson Trust Co., Davidson Investment Advisors, Davidson Fixed Income Management and Davidson Travel. Mr. Davidson joined D.A. Davidson & Co. in 1958 as the firm’s third employee, along with his father and a secretary/cashier. Previously, he worked for a regional investment firm in Utah and New York, was a finance instructor at the University of Montana and an accounting officer in the U.S. Air Force. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Montana and a master's degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley. He has been active in many securities industry organizations, including the National Association of Securities Dealers, for which he served as board chairman in 1995. He has been vice chairman of the Pacific Exchange Inc. and served on the board of the Securities Industry Association. He is involved in many civic and educational groups and serves on the board of directors of Plum Creek Timber Co.

is Vice Chairman of Davidson Companies and is its former President and CEO. Mr. Purpura joined D.A. Davidson & Co. in 1976 as Treasurer, and was named President and Chief Operating Officer of the firm in 1990. He became President and CEO of D.A. Davidson & Co. in 1998, and was elected President and CEO of what was then called DADCO, and now Davidson Companies, in January 2000. He was educated at New York State University-Buffalo and The New York Institute of Finance. Before joining D.A. Davidson & Co., he was Operations Manager for Hugh Johnson & Co. in Buffalo. He has been active in industry groups, including the National Association of Securities Dealers and Securities Industry Association. Among other involvement, he serves as President and on the Board of Directors of the Great Falls Baseball Club.

Davidson & Co. as President in August 2000, and became President and CEO of Davidson Companies in January 2004. Previously, he was Managing Partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, a Minneapolis-based law firm with offices around the world, where he began his career as an attorney. Before returning to law, Johnstone was Vice Chairman of the investment firm Dain Rauscher Inc. and President and CEO of Rauscher, Pierce & Refsnes Inc., a subsidiary of Dain Rauscher. A native Montanan, Johnstone earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from Montana State University and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, again with honors. He has served or is serving on various boards of directors at the national, state and local levels. He currently is active as a board member for the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.

Mr. Sims joined Davidson Trust in September 2004 after previously serving as Director and President of Legg Mason Trust, fsb, in Baltimore, Maryland. He joined Legg Mason in 1992 to form and develop a trust business for the company. He previously served in various management positions with a number of financial institutions, accumulating more than 29 years in the trust industry during his career. He is a graduate of the University of Texas and holds a law degree from Case Western Reserve University. He has been active in a variety of civic and educational organizations.

Mr. Davidson was named President of the firm in 2004 after serving as Senior Vice President, Director of Client Services and Marketing for Davidson Investment Advisors and previously serving as one of the firm’s portfolio managers. Mr. Davidson joined Davidson Investment Advisors in 1993 after working with Van Kaspar Advisors and Dean Witter Reynolds, both in California’s Bay Area. A graduate of the University of Montana, Mr. Davidson is active in the community, serving on several boards of directors for regional businesses and organizations. He represents the third generation of the Davidson family to serve in a senior leadership role within Davidson Companies.

He has been associated with Davidson Companies since 2005 with the company’s acquisition of Kirkpatrick, Pettis, Smith, Polian Inc., where he had been head of Fixed Income Capital Markets. Mr. Doyle began his career in 1972 at Drexel Burnham in New York, eventually becoming that firm's head trader. He joined Roosevelt Cross in 1977. He moved to Denver in 1980 upon joining First of Denver (later First Interstate Bank of Denver), where he was head of Fixed Income Capital Markets. Mr. Doyle joined Kirkpatrick Pettis in 1991 and was instrumental in the opening of its Denver office. Mr. Doyle serves on the boards of directors for both Davidson Companies and Davidson Fixed Income Management, Inc., and is active in industry associations.

is President of the Individual Investor Group of D.A. Davidson & Co. He began his career in the securities industry in 1976 as an investment broker with Foster & Marshall. He joined what was then called Dain Bosworth in 1982 and was appointed manager of that firm's Seattle, Washington office in 1986 and was later promoted to regional manager. He served as President of Ragen MacKenzie from 1999 until Wells Fargo purchased Ragen MacKenzie and he was appointed regional manager of Private Client Services for Wells Fargo-Ragen MacKenzie. Mr. Kerr joined D.A. Davidson & Co. in 2005. He serves on the board of directors for Davidson Companies and also on the board of Davidson Trust Co. He has been active in the Seattle community, including serving on the boards for the Seattle Aquarium and Seattle Police Association.

His 26 years of experience in the securities industry includes prior positions as vice president for Dean Witter from during the 1980s and as a general partner of Dakota Partners, an investment partnership, from 1986 to 1990. Mr. Woodcock serves on the Davidson Companies Executive Committee and D.A. Davidson & Co. Management Council and has been a member of the Davidson Companies Board of Directors since 1999. He is currently a member of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Institutional Brokerage Committee. Mr. Woodcock is a graduate of University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada, and a former member of the National Ski Team of Canada.
