Art Sims
President, Davidson Trust Co.

Mr. Sims is President of Davidson Trust Co., the trust and wealth management arm of Davidson Companies.

Mr. Sims joined Davidson Trust in October 2004 after previously serving as Director and President of Legg Mason Trust, fsb, in Baltimore, Maryland. He joined Legg Mason in 1992 to form and develop a trust business for the company. He previously served in various management positions with a number of financial institutions, accumulating more than 30 years in the trust industry during his career.

He is a graduate of the University of Texas and holds a law degree from Case Western Reserve University. He has been active in a variety of civic and educational organizations.

Darcy MacLaren, CFA
Senior Vice President, Senior Investment Officer

Darcy MacLaren, CFA, joined Davidson Trust Co. in June 2005.  She is Davidson Trust Co.'s Senior Vice President and Senior Investment Officer with oversight of all investment related business.  She has held the Chartered Financial Analyst designation since 1983, is Series 65 licensed and holds a MBA in Finance from the University of Washington.

Darcy has extensive and broad-based experience in the asset management arena and has worked in the trust environment most recently with Safeco Asset Management, where she served as Director of Equity Research and Vice President of the Safeco Insurance Company.  She has previously served as a Co-Founder and Manager of Meridian Capital Management and is a past President of the Seattle Society of Financial Analysts.

Holli Rozinka
Vice President, Trust Officer, Branch Manager

Holli Rozinka serves as Vice President, Senior Trust Officer and Branch Manager, overseeing more than 300 accounts with an asset size of over $140 million.  Since joining Davidson Trust Co. in 1998, she has excelled as a leader and role model in the estate planning profession.  Holli's work focuses on personal trusts, probates and guardianships and, although she has clients nationwide, her practice is concentrated in Montana, Wyoming and Nebraska.

Holli is experienced in assisting people with the creation and implementation of their estate plans and the administration of plans both during life and after death.  She takes immense pride in Davidson Trust Co.'s ability to provide truly personalized service.

She earned two bachelor's degrees from the University of Montana and is a graduate of Cannon Financial Institute's Trust School.  She has long been active in the community and is a member of Soroptimist International of Missoula, Childcare Reserouces and her local Estate Planning Council.

Jonathan (Todd) Edmonds
Vice President, Trust Officer, Branch Manager

Mr. Edmonds brings to Davidson Trust Co. more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of trust services, serving for many of those years as a Vice President and Trust Officer.  Before joining Davidson Trust Co., he was with the Old National Bank of Washington, which merged with U.S. Bank.  Todd graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Idaho and holds the professional designations of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP).  He is active in the community and serves as a member of the Spokane and Coeur d'Alene Estate Planning Councils, on the Foundation Board for the Community Colleges of Spokane and with the Board of Trustees for the Vanhessa Behan Crisis Nursery.

Bob Newell
Vice President, Director of Trust Sales and Marketing

Bob Newell serves as Vice President and Director of Trust Sales and Marketing for Davidson Trust Co.’s new Seattle office.  Bob brings to Davidson Trust Co. a 30-year track record of successful leadership and boardroom experience.  Previously Bob served as Vice President for Frontier Bank’s Trust Department and Northwestern Trust Company for 16 years, where he assisted new clients in setting up trust relationships.  Prior to that, he served as a consultant for Management Action Programs, where he implemented strategic planning processes throughout several Northwest companies.


Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington.  Additionally he is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Seattle and Eastside Estate Planning Council.  His community affiliations include United Way of King County and the Thomas A. LaFollette Foundation.

Sam Thiessen
Vice President, Trust Officer

Sam Thiessen joined Davidson Trust Co. in November, 2010 and serves as Vice President and Trust Officer.  Previously, Sam served as Vice President and Fiduciary Director at BNY Mellon.  Prior to joining BNY Mellon he was integral in the establishment and success of Safeco Trust Company.  Sam was initially employed at Bank of America where he spent over thirty years in various leadership and relationship management positions.  Sam graduated from Whitworth University, and is an Honors graduate from Pacific Coast Banking School where his research paper is part of the school’s permanent library.

Gary Grina
Vice President, Trust Officer and Branch Manager

Gary Grina is the newest member of the Seattle Personal Trust team where he serves as Vice President and Trust Officer.  Gary came to Davidson Trust Co. from BNY Mellon in Seattle where he was Vice President and Senior Fiduciary Officer.  He has worked in the trust business for over 40 years with Safeco Trust, Key Trust Company of the Northwest, Key Trust Company of the West and Seattle-First National Bank.  Gary graduated Cum Laude from the University of Washington with a BA in Business Administration.  He is also a graduate from Pacific Coast Banking School and ABA National Mortgage School. 

Mona Frisk, CTFA
Vice President, Trust Officer

Mona Frisk handles Trust Administration for Davidson Trust’s Seattle office.  She brings over twenty-five years of fiduciary experience in Seattle to her role, having served in senior relationship management positions at Northern Trust, Laird Norton Tyee, and SAFECO Trust Co.  She is a graduate of Washington State University and also Cannon Trust School, where she earned the designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor.  Mona is a member of the Seattle Estate Planning Council and was recently appointed to the WSU Foundation Planned Giving Advisory Board.      


Mona enjoys building strong relationships with clients and their families to better understand their goals, concerns, and needs, while working collaboratively with their other professional advisors to implement customized solutions. 

Karen Bishop
Vice President, Trust Officer, Supervisor of Great Falls Personal Trust

Ms. Bishop earned BA degrees in Psychology and Sociology at the State University of West Georgia.  Her trust career began with Northwestern Union Trust Co. in 1980 and graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School in 1985.  She then managed the Trust Department at First Interstate Bank from 1986 - 1989.  Karen enjoyed working as a registered investment adviser with Piper Jaffray and most recently served as Membership Coordinator for the C.M. Russell Museum for five years before returning to the trust industry with Davidson Trust Co. in February of 2003.

Karen Grove
Assistant Vice President, Trust Officer

Ms. Grove serves as a Trust Officer and Relationship Manager. She received her training through Cannon Financial Institute, and in 1997 received the ICB designation as a Certified Retirement Service Professional. Ms. Grove joined Davidson Trust in October of 1981 and has spent 11 of those years in Employee Benefits. Ms. Grove recently moved into the Personal Trust department where her main focus is customer relations.

Leanne Huber
Assistant Vice President, Employee Benefits Trust Officer

Ms. Huber joined Davidson Trust in April 2001. She has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Montana and is currently attending MSU-College of Technology to earn an Associates Degree in Computer Technology. She is responsible for the participant recordkeeping and necessary compliance testing for 401k, pension and profit sharing plans along with the annual 5500 government reporting. Ms. Huber has participated in various retirement plan industry seminars and training events.

Evelyn Forsyth
Trust Trading Officer

Evelyn Forsyth joined Davidson Trust Co. in November 1991 and has an accumulated 30 years of experience in the finance industry. She oversees all trading for the trust company and assists with investments.

Previously, Evelyn worked at First Interstate Bank as assistant to the CFO where she also supervised the finance department. Prior to First Interstate Bank, Evelyn held various positions at First State Bank Shelby, First National Bank of Browning and US Bank Great Falls (formerly First Bank).

Evelyn is a member of the Seattle Traders Association. She attended Cannon Financial and MSU Billings (formerly Eastern Montana College) and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
