Steve Chercover joined D.A. Davidson in February 2000 covering the Paper & Forest Products sector, which he previously covered for TD Newcrest in Toronto. His knowledge of the Canadian industry and current location in Portland, Oregon give him a unique perspective of the evolving North American forest products industry. In the past several years, Chercover has enjoyed several accolades, including the Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street" and a ranking for earnings estimate accuracy, according to Starmine & Forbes Magazine. Steve has also been named to the All-American Research Team in Institutional Investor Magazine's ranking of Regional and Boutique brokerages. Steve holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Western Ontario, an MBA from the University of Toronto, and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
