Prior to joining D.A. Davidson in July 2001, J.B. Groh spent six years, most recently as Vice President, at Crown Point Group, Ltd., a boutique investment banking firm where he was involved in raising capital for public and private companies, M&A activity, and business valuations in a variety of industries. Prior to joining Crown Point, J.B. served as an equity research analyst for a national broker-dealer. Since joining Davidson, J.B. has received numerous awards, including Forbes Best Brokerage Analysts for stock picking in Aerospace & Defense and the Wall Street Journal's Best on the Street for Aerospace and Heavy Machinery. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Arizona and his MBA in Finance and Accounting from the Karl Eller Graduate School of Management at the University of Arizona. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Portland Society of Financial Analysts.
